Joseph Scrimshaw (Writer, Director, Macbeth) is a local actor, writer, and producer. With his brother, Joshua, he is one half of the Scrimshaw Brothers--named City Pages' Artists of the Year in 2002 and infamous for their "smart, manic" (CP) alcohol fueled comedy. As a for-hire actor, Joseph has performed with Bedlam Theater, Mystery Cafe, the History Theatre, the MN Shakespeare Project, and is a resident performer of children's theater at the Old Gem in New Richmond, Wisconsin. As an independent writer and producer, Joseph has created multiple top ten best selling Fringe shows including Worst Show in the Fringe and Die, Clowns, Die! Joseph is now an internationally produced playwright. His hit romantic comedy Adventures in Mating has appeared in New York, Seattle, the UK, Bulgaria, and every Monday night at the Bryant Lake Bowl right here in Minneapolis. Joseph had been described as "clever and inventive" by the Star Tribune, "physically fearless" by Pioneer Press and "King of Comedy" by MN Monthly. Joseph can also be seen in Tim Uren's Fringe show, Robert Anton Wilson's Masks of the Illuminati. Tim Uren(Banquo, Duncan, Malcolm, Donalbain, Macduff, Lady Macduff, Macduff's son, and Ghost of Banquo) is a hardworking Minneapolis-based actor and comedian. In addition to Macbeth's Awesome Scottish Castle Party, he's also the man behind Robert Anton Wilson's Masks of the Illuminati at the Ritz Theater for this year's Fringe. You may have seen his work in such past Fringe shows as H.P. Lovecraft's The Rats in the Walls, Michigan Disasters, 10,000 Comic Books, or Shut Your Joke Hole. Tim's been performing in the Twin Cities for over ten years, having worked with folks like Stevie Ray's, the Brave New Workshop, and the Scrimshaw Brothers. Every now and again, he performs a solo improvisational performance called 300 Comic Books at Improv-a-Go-Go. He's appeared in Fun With Law's Soulless, Bloodsucking Lawyers and Hardcover Theater's London After Midnight. The nice folks at Circus Minimus Puppetry have been kind enough to work with Tim on occassion. Tim has also taking a liking to doing shows for kids at the Old Gem Theater in New Richmond, WI, where he has played such roles as Johnny Appleseed, Captain Hook, Santa Claus, a bear, a billy goat, a mouse, two pigs, and many others. |

Jen Scott (The Witches) has been performing as an actor/improviser/musician since moving to the Cities in 1998. Recent credits include Actors Theater of Minnesota's We Gotta Bingo, Hennepin Stages' Awesome 80's Prom and whatever else she can get her hands on (her improv duo, Vaudeville with a Pig, can be seen every once in a while at Improv a Go Go). Jen is also working on another Fringe show, Tim Uren's Robert Anton Wilson's Masks of the Illuminati, where she hopes to play Ezra Pound. Jen teaches improv at the Brave New Workshop, and currently destroys things with liquid nitrogen at the Science Museum of Minnesota. She has a soft spot for hair-obsessed maltese poodle mixes and cats with snooty names. Thank you. |

Mo Perry (Lady Macbeth) is a local actress, administrative assistant, and cheese enthusiast. She was most recently seen in TRP's production of Uncle Vanya, in which she played Sonya, an unattractive Russian, and Starting Gate's Amadeus, in which she played the character of Friedrich. This has left her confused and upset. Other show credits include: Ghosts and Twelfth Night at Theatre in the Round, Past the Size of Dreaming for Starting Gate, Oleanna for Theatre Limina, Talking With... for In The Basement Productions, and Blackbeard, For Instance at the Brave New Workshop. Mo has also created Eurologue--a one-woman show and documentary based on interviews conducted across 8 European countries on international perspectives on the U.S. War on Terror. She hates air conditioning, but enjoys beer. She urges you to buy her one. |

Dan Rooney (The Porter, Musician) is an actor, a writer, and a clown. National tour: Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Twin Cities Theatre: Mystery Cafe, 23 productions since 1995; Martini and Olive as Stuart the Security Guard since 1994 at the Bryant Lake Bowl and Hennepin Stages; three Fringe Festival appearances including Brian Kelly's The Temp which was named City Pages Best Musical of 1998. Television: numerous commercials including Toro, Best Buy, United HealthCare, and Honey Baked Ham. Cable Television: Comedy Central: Workforce and Let's Bowl, WGN: The Bozo Show. Dan also writes, directs, produces, and performs in a local corporate traveling children's theatre company. Dan holds a BFA from Miami University and is a graduate of Ringling Brothers Clown College. |

Pablo (Troubador of Castle Macbeth, Musician) is a Minneapolis based singer-songwriter. He has performed throughout the U.S. and has released two full-length CD's: Vulgar Modalities (1998 Spiderbone Records) and Bitches and Machines (2001 Sursumcorda). Pablo has been described as a folk artist with a post-punk sensibility, a poet whose influences range from Lenny Bruce to Walt Whitman, an unnervingly honest crafter of obscene and eloquent anti-tunes. In 1999 he was voted "Best Acoustic Performer" by City Pages in their Annual Best of the Twin Cities issue. Most recently, Pablo has performed with The Scrimshaw Brothers as part of their monthly variety show at the Bryant Lake Bowl and has written music for several theatrical works by local director, Jon Ferguson. Pablo is currently working on his third full-length CD. |
